I’ve never been to Gold Creek Lake before but when Morgan told me how beautiful it was we started planning their engagement session for this lovely spot right away! Morgan and Thomas are the cutest couple ever and I had so much fun getting to know them. When I found out they were planning their wedding in New Orleans my heart skipped a beat. I’ve spent many a weekend roaming that city, listening to street jazz and watching the artists at work. It is without a doubt one of the most romantic cities to celebrate true love! I immediately started visualizing portraits at Cafe’ Du Monde and strolls along cobble stone paths. I could go on and on but, oh what a beautiful place!

Photographer's Notes: The lake was really easy to get to and only a three minute walk from the parking lot. When I took the first turn down a gravel dirt road I thought I was going the wrong way but it let to a paved road after a minute and a large parking lot. Great location!
